Periphery: Connecting a DYMO Printer

Follow these steps to connect your DYMO label printer as a peripheral to the kiosk device:

  1. Download the latest official software and driver version of DYMO Connect for Desktop Windows from this webpage. Open the installation file and follow the setup wizard to install the driver on your computer. The default label format of 54x77mm will be automatically saved.

  2. Create a new peripheral on the Platform. Go to Devices, select the relevant kiosk device to open its details, navigate to the Periphery tab, and click Create.

Fill in or select the details for the new periphery:

  • Periphery Type: Printer

  • Manufacturer / Model: Microsoft / Windows Printer

  • Periphery Name: Enter the name of your printer

  • Configuration: Enter the following string

Click Save.

  1. Select the right paper for the printer in your Windows settings. Find the DYMO label printer under Printers & scanners, click Manage, and open Printer properties. Go to Printing Preferences and select Orientation: Landscape.

Then go to Advanced Options and select Paper Size: 30324 Diskette.

  1. Сhoose from standard badge templates on the Platform. Go to Check-in, the Settings tab, Badges section.
