Registering a Device

To register a new end device on the cloud server, you should create that device in the Platform web application. To do this, go to the Devices tab in the Devices area and click Create:

Fill in the required fields to complete the creation of a new device:

• Device Name: Enter a device name.

• Description: Add a device description for easier identification (optional).

• Group: Assign the device to a group. While this field is optional, you can only play content assigned to device groups. See Device Grouping

• Geolocation (Latitude and Longitude): geographic coordinates of the device location (optional).

• Working time: You can specify the working hours of the device; at other times, the screen will be turned off (optional).

After entering all the data, confirm the creation of the device by clicking Save.
