Activating a Device

In order to play content, your devices must be activated using a license.

After launching the newly installed friendlyway Player application, you will be prompted to enter an activation code from the Platform web application:

In the web application, go to the list of devices in the Devices area and click on the entry that should be connected to the corresponding device. (If you have not yet registered your device in the cloud, see .) Then click Activate:

The code will be displayed. Copy the code into the activation window of friendlyway Player and click Activate. Please note that the generated code must be entered within five minutes. Otherwise, you’ll need to create a new activation code.

After connecting friendlyway Player to the entry in the Platform web application, the program is synchronized with the server and all settings are loaded. The device is now displayed as "activated" and "online" on the device list.
