friendlyway Player is an application specifically designed to play scheduled media content on kiosks and displays. It enables precise and seamless playback of content according to the predefined schedules and configurations set within the Platform.
friendlyway Player should be installed and configured on each end device, and then connected to the corresponding device account on the Platform.
friendlyway supports Players on the Windows operating system. In this tutorial, we use the Player application for Windows 10.
The setup file for friendlyway Player can be downloaded from the Platform. To do this, log into your account (see Setting Up Your Account) and click on the friendlyway logo in the upper left corner:
Download and run the Windows setup file. During the installation process, you will be asked to:
Read and accept the terms of the End-User License Agreement.
Choose the setup type (Typical, Custom, or Complete). Typical setup is recommended for most users.
Select the default interface language (English or German).
Note that it may take several minutes to complete the installation process.
On the final screen, tick Launch FW Player and click Finish:
