Visit Type Configuration
How to customize visit types for visitors with different workflows.
Go to Check-in → Settings → Visit types to view and manage your configured visit types. Switch between All and Active (filtering out inactive types) using the top buttons.

Adding a new visit type
Click + Add Visit type at the bottom of the page or copy an existing visit type by clicking the icon
next to it.Enter a name, short name (one-letter abbreviations can be helpful when included in workflow names), and a description of the visit type for ease of reference.
Optionally, specify user roles with restricted permissions to view, edit, or access logs or waitlists for visits of this type by selecting them from the dropdowns.
Select the Unplanned checkbox if the visit type is intended for the kiosk's self-registration screen configuration.
Select the Default checkbox for your main visit type. It will be preselected in the pop-up shown at visit creation on the platform.
Ensure the Active checkbox is selected. If you want to stop using a visit type, make it inactive (old records will remain unchanged on the platform).
Click Save.
