Check-In Restrictions
The first section of the Check-in module settings enables you to set general restrictions related to the check-in process.

Time restrictions
Allow check-in:
Before the scheduled start of the visit (hours): Set a time slot before the visit start time, during which visitors can initiate the check-in process (e.g., 3 hours before the visit). If empty, visitors can check in only from the visit’s start date and time.
After the scheduled end of the visit (hours): Define a time slot after the visit's end time, during which visitors can start the check-in process (e.g., 1 hour after the visit concludes). If empty, visitors can check in only before the visit’s finish date and time.
Multiple сheck-ins
Allow multiple check-ins without checking out. Enabling this option is recommended.
PIN code/barcode settings
Set PIN/barcode length (4–20 digits): Customize the auto-generated code length, ranging from 4 to 20 digits. The system may include this PIN/barcode in visitor invitations and notifications for quick onsite check-in.
Allow generating reused PINs/barcodes: Tick if your visitor codes are not required to be unique.
For security reasons, issuing reused PINs/barcodes will not be allowed within the following number of days after the visit containing these codes: [insert the number of days when enabling the option above].
Auto check-in when approving from the waitlist
Toggle this option (off by default) to automatically mark visitors as checked in the moment you approve them from the Waitlist tab, eliminating the extra manual steps. Great for workflows where visitor approval is required and the check-in event isn’t tied to physical entry or other action.
Admin note (avoid duplicates) Enable both of these in your workflow to prevent duplicate visit logs:
Check-in page: Do not set the visitor as checked-in
Check-in Result page: Hide “Wait for approval” screens
Remember to click "Save" after any changes on the Check-in settings page.
